Did you know that 75% of the nation like the Yankees over the Red Sox? They think that the Yankees are way better! Today is the last game of the series and the Boston Red Sox are up 1 to nothing against the New York Yankees. David Hall was the first to score for the Red Sox . CC's pitches were on hot and so were Bronson Arroyos. We were in the top of the third inning, and the Yankees had struck out David Ortiz, So now the Yankees were up to bat. Bronson had struck out Alex Rodriguez. Arroyo Pitcheed a fast ball down the middle and Derek Jeter hit a pop-fly for an out. Up next was robby Canno, his first pitch was a curve ball and was hit for a foul ball. The second pitch was a change up and was hit for a base hit. I was very upset. I asked myself, " How can you let then get a base hit if they already have two men out"? Arroyo finished the job with a strike out. "Yes," i yell!!! Wow the Red Sox are back and ready to put some points on the board. Now, let's skip to the seventh inning strech.

During the seventh inning strech, I got up and went to the back of the room. Oh yeah, did I tell you that I had a private suite other wise known as the luxury box. The suite was like your happy place but only ten times better! When you first arrive at the game, you are overwelmed by the sight of the brand new Yankees Stadium. The smell of the fresh air is amazing. You go to your gate and get then go to the V.I.P hall way. You will see lots of huge elevators full of people waiting to see their suite. We get on the elevator and wait about 45 seconds and then get off at our floor. Look around and its like you are the President. We all stepped into door number 2 and it was awsome! We had a butler and the view was amazing! I go back and get a nice juicy hot dog from the mini grill. While I was there i got mustard, ketch up, and nice crunchy relish. It was fabulous to be able to order all the soda i can drink and all the deserts i can eat.

Back to the game! It is the top of the ninth inning and the Boston Red Sox were had scored 3 runs. The Yankees finally got the Red Sox out by striking out Arroyos. The Yankees had also gotten 3 runs in as well. Robby Canno was on first base and Jeter was on second. The Yankees already had 2 outs. Jeter tried to steal 3rd base, but had gotten out. The score was now tied, so we had to go into overtime. Boston had gotten out two times already by pop-flies. Boston had hit a long ball into left field for an out. I said to my self that Boston was done for the night becuase i knew that the Yankees would score 2 more runs than us. Believe it or not, Derek Jeter got a solo home run. Then they got bases loaded. This is when i knew it was really over. Mark Teixeira was up next and had gotten a walk off home run to win the last game in the series. The Yankees had defeated the Red Sox. What a great game played by both teams that day. I guess that is why 75% of the nation likes the New York Yankees over the Boston Red Sox!!!
